1. Agreement Acceptance & Scope

By accessing, registering an account, or purchasing services from LemoneHost (web hosting, game servers, domains, or VPS), you expressly and unconditionally accept all terms below. This document constitutes a legally binding contract between you (the user/client) and LemoneHost, applicable whether you access services from the European Union (Romania) or the United Kingdom (UK).

2. User Accounts, Security & Eligibility

Minimum age: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and place orders.
Data accuracy: You are required to provide accurate, correct, and up-to-date information (name, address, email).
Account security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity conducted under your account.

3. Payments, Subscriptions & Right of Withdrawal (EU & UK Consumer Rights)

Services are provided on a recurring subscription or one-time payment basis. In compliance with EU legislation (Consumer Rights Directorate) and UK legislation (Consumer Rights Act 2015 / Consumer Contracts Regulations):

Refund period / Money-back guarantee: We offer a 14-day refund policy for eligible Web Hosting services, excluding domain name registrations, software licenses, and custom-configured game/dedicated servers which fall under digital service exceptions initiated with client consent.
Waiver of cancellation right: By immediately activating a digital service or game server, you acknowledge and waive the 14-day statutory withdrawal right under European and UK digital content regulations.

4. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

It is strictly prohibited to use LemoneHost infrastructure for illegal activities under Romanian, EU, and UK laws. The following actions will result in immediate suspension without refund:

Hosting or distributing malicious content, malware, Trojans, phishing, or attack scripts (DDoS, brute-force).
Copyright infringement (software piracy, illegal distribution of copyrighted materials - DMCA / UK/EU laws).
Sending mass spam emails or activities that may lead to IP blacklisting.

5. Limitation of Liability & Service Uptime

LemoneHost makes every technical effort to ensure high network and server uptime. However, to the maximum extent permitted by UK and EU laws, we accept no liability for indirect losses, loss of profit, data loss caused by user negligence, or interruptions due to force majeure, partner datacenter outages, or major cyber-attacks.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This agreement is governed by the laws of Romania and the European Union, while respecting mandatory consumer rights for residents of the United Kingdom under applicable British legislation. Any dispute shall be settled amicably or, failing that, by the competent courts or via the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
